Loyal beyond belief, John Weir will be remembered as the consummate gentleman, salesperson, and consumer advocate. During his seventeen years at Performance Motors, John Dedicated himself to his customers and to the company. John had a passion for the car business and enjoyed tremendous success by treating his customers like family- with warmth and respect. He had many "repeat" customers and considered that to be the measure of his success. He was especially gratified when, over the years, those repeat customers brought their children in to buy their first cars from him. John Weir was a professional who took pride in his work and set a standard for many younger salespeople who he gladly mentored during his tenure at Performance Motors. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. |

An update from Toyota “We wanted you to be among the first to know that Toyota has just announced it has developed a comprehensive plan to fix the sticking accelerator pedals on recalled Toyota Division vehicles, and many dealers will begin fixing accelerator pedals this week. Depending on work flow at the dealership, the fix can be completed within a short period of time. With the support of our dealers, we will make an all-out effort to complete the recall campaign as quickly and conveniently as we can for our customers. We are confident the fix will eliminate the excess friction that, in rare instance, has caused the pedals to stick, and it will enable us to address our customers’ concerns about this issue. We also hope to resume production of these models shortly. As you know nothing is more important to Toyota than the safety and satisfaction of our customers.
